March is already almost over, and that means that it’s time to face the music…the little baby Peanut is 4 months old and mama hasn’t been working out. This being my third pregnancy, I’m not being too hard on myself this time around. I’m in a happy place with my body, although there are definitely more lumps and bumps than there were pre-baby.
That said, I will no longer be sporting the string bikinis I used to wear in days gone by….because I don’t want to be this woman:

Even though I’m going for a one piece this Summer, that doesn’t mean I can’t still be super trendy, cute, and even sexy. 🙂
Here are five of my favorite one-piece bathing suits to rock my mom body by the pool this summer, and where to buy them. 🙂

1. Merona Women’s Polka Dot One-Piece from Target. $34.99

Oh my freakin’ goodness…how cute is this suit? I love love love everything about it, including the price! The halter style up top accentuates the girls, and the ruching in the front minimizes the belly, so that’s a win-win!

2. The MagicSuit Convertible Blouson One-Piece from Victoria’s Secret. $188.50.

How hot is this? But I don’t look like her. 🙁 And this one is expensive…but hey, I said these were my favorite suits, not the cheapest. 🙂 This suit can be worn several different ways, though, so it’s like getting more than one for the money, right!?

3. Coupe of Tea One-Piece from ModCloth. $89.99

This super cool retro bathing suit is extremely sexy in a pin-up girl sort of way. And it’s flattering…lined with cups in the halter top, ruching in the mid-section, and FULL coverage in the rear!

4. MagicSuit Firm Control Criss-Cross One-Piece from Victoria’s Secret. $142.50.

This suit is supposed to make you look “instantly slimmer”. That must be why it’s called a “magic” suit. I really like how the criss-cross design minimizes the tummy area, and how the high-cut hip elongates the leg.

5. ASSETS by Sara Blakely (A Spanx Brand) Halter Swim Dress from Target. $49.99.

Ok, so usually I’m anti-swim dresses…but this time they had me at SPANX. Plus this is just about the least frumpy swim dress I’ve ever seen. It’s adorable, and it just plain hides every bad part you don’t want someone to see. SO cute.

I guess it’s pretty obvious what my favorite colors are, huh? Totally did not mean to choose all red, black & white suits. 🙂 And they do come in other colors if these aren’t your faves.

Happy shopping, ladies! 🙂
