Simple, light, and fresh citrus glazed salmon.

This is a great glaze for any seafood, but I especially like it on salmon. I serve this dish with a side of Lemon-Dill Pasta, and a simple salad. So good, fresh, and light! …and FRUGAL! šŸ™‚

This is an awesome sweet glaze that is great on any seafood. I serve this dish with a side of lemon-dill pasta & a simple salad. You could also grill the salmon…yum! šŸ™‚
  • 4 salmon filets
  • 1 TBS olive oil
  • 2 TBS salted butter
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  1. Add salmon to oil and butter in a skillet on medium heat.
  2. Sprinkle with pepper and a dash of garlic powder.
  3. Cook salmon until half way done, then add glaze.
  4. For the glaze:
  5. Combine the orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, water, sugar and salt in a small skillet.
  6. Mix well, and bring to a boil over medium to medium-high heat.
  7. Cook until reduced by half.
  8. Let cool until the glaze is thick and sticky.
  9. Brush glaze onto salmon during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  10. Pour remaining glaze over afterwards, or use to garnish your entree.
