We feed our entire family on a budget of about $200 per MONTH! This is less than what most people spend in a week! Our average shopping trip is around $60 per week. We only shop once a week, either on Saturdays or Sundays.
This week I fed our family for $67.80. It’s normally less than that, but I had quite a bit of stuff on the list this week.
Now that the little Pumpkin is almost 2 (Gasp! It’s going too fast!) he’s really starting to get more into kid’s cartoons and TV shows. I wanted to add a little TV to the playroom and start a kid’s DVD collection, but I also really did not want to drop several hundred dollars on a new flat screen, or a few hundred more on DVD’s. So, the frugal girl inside me got creative and went to work!
I’m all about quality, but I get sticker sock whenever I set foot into one of the big name grocery stores! I seriously feel like a little 85 year old lady who has no concept of inflation and thinks that eggs
