I have to apologize for the long hiatus I have taken from blogging! As you know, if you follow me on Instagram, we have moved, AGAIN! There have been so many big recent life changes!
We now live on my dream property, which is almost 7 acres, out in the country. I have my quaint farmhouse that I’ve always dreamed of!
Now, if you go to my Instagram page, you will see some photos of the new place, including a few of the little Fall vignettes I have placed around the house. However, the farmhouse is really not yet photo-ready. 🙂
So, I’m bringing back an encore viewing of last year’s Fall Home Tour. Just click below to watch it! I really enjoyed decorating last year and had fun making this video! Hopefully I’ll be ready for a tour of the new farmhouse by Christmas, or at least by Spring!
I recently freshened up the decor in my bedroom in preparation for the holiday season, and I was inspired to create a little video for you with tons of inspiration for your own pretty bedroom decor. In this vlog, I’ve laid out 5 Tips For A Perfect Bedroom. Enjoy!
Hey y’all! I’m not Southern, but I still like to say that! 🙂 Especially because…It’s FALL, y’all! 🙂
I’ve been getting my craft on up in here in a big, big way. I’m decorating my house with lots of cool DIY’s, and I’m starting to make a lot of handmade Christmas presents in preparation for the holidays.
Well, I’m sort of in love with my latest DIY, and I wanted to share it with you, so you can make it!
Here’s a sneak peak into my Fall home for 2016. Be sure to watch the video for decor inspiration, and subscribe to my YouTube channel! 🙂
This is the first year that I’ve decorated THIS MUCH for Fall, but I’m really loving it! I was really inspired this year by Pinterest! I’m loving the coziness of our home with candles lit, while sipping Pumpkin Spice Latte, and snuggling under a cozy throw.
This year I’ve done a ton of DIY projects that have been really budget friendly. You’ll see a few of those in my home tour video. I’ve also been loving Dollar Tree as my go-to Fall decor store!
Comment below and let me know what you’ve been doing to get cozy for Fall! 🙂
If you’ve ever taken a gander at my Pinterest or Instagram pages, you’ve gotten a good glimpse of the fact that I’m into very rustic distressed and shabby chic decor. And while I love my house, when we first moved in, a lot of the design & fixtures were too modern and contemporary for my liking.
Case in point, the pendant lights above our kitchen island. There was nothing wrong with them, but I just felt like they needed a more rustic touch. Knowing me, you know I’m frugal, and I just can’t bring myself to spend a lot of money on my home decor items. I love thrifting, garage sales, estate sales, auctions and craigslist! Sometimes I’m even able to find things in my own home to use as home decor. And that’s exactly what I did with my pendant light fixture makeover.
