I love interior design, and I thought you guys might like to see exactly where I create all my recipes, where I drink all my cheap wine, and where I change all those poopy diapers! Here’s a little peek inside our home, which is a work in progress because we’ve been here less than a year. I hope you enjoy! 🙂
Here’s the exterior
And here’s the exterior shown in our 2014 family photos.
Here’s the kitchen, where the recipe magic behind this blog happens. This is the heart of our home, where we congregate, graze, have happy hour, and lots of laughs together as a family.
My kitchen cabinet that houses many of my antique mason jars. In case you didn’t know, I’m OBSESSED with antique mason jars! 🙂
After a few decor purchases from one of my favorite decor sources, GORDMAN’S!!
More decor from Gordman’s.
Our peaceful cornfield view, which we LOVE!
Here’s our foyer. I feel like it’s so welcoming. I got the mirror at Pier 1 Imports, the console table at Target, and the red vase on clearance at Gordman’s (for only a few bucks, because it was chipped…which I fixed with a red Sharpie). #frugal 🙂
Here’s the master bedroom. Tinsley the dog says, “Hi!”
Here’s the master from the other side. Oh Look! There’s a Hallmark Original Movie on! Sidenote: I watch Hallmark’s movies NONSTOP through the holiday season. They make me SOOOOO HAPPY. True story, they honestly improve my quality of life, and make me a happier person. 🙂
Oh look, it’s a cute basket full of fluffy blankets! I keep these everywhere in my house for added coziness! They don’t stay looking this nice for long, though, because the little boys can’t resist snuggling. 🙂
Here’s the Master Bath, clean and simple.
Oh, and here’s the master bedroom again, with some pops of red that I added through the holiday season. I love adding new accent colors and little holiday touches in every room. I got these pillows at (you guessed it) Gordman’s.
Hope you enjoyed our home tour! This is just a small glimpse into our home. Stay tuned for many more photos of more rooms and decorating ideas!
