My family and I are very frugal, but we like nice things. That said, saving money is incredibly important to us. If you are like us – one of the many families saving money by living more frugally – then you’ll appreciate this list of my personal recommendations of products and services that will help you live large, while spending less.

I like clothes, and I am a sucker for cute home decor. I love to dress my kiddos in really cute outfits. I like fancy food and good wine. The sad fact is, these things are typically NOT CHEAP! Even though I’m frugal, I still treat myself a little bit here and there when I see good deals, sales, and coupons. For families saving money, or wanting to spend less, finding a deal on things they love is extremely important…but sometimes hard to do! And that’s why I created this list.

One thing my family and I have had to stop doing in the pursuit of building our savings is traveling and taking vacations…and I know that other families saving money are in the same boat as us. But, this year we have decided to find the best deals on travel that we can and start exploring the world again as a family. I want my kids to frolic in the ocean, take in the mountains, and camp out under the stars, so we are excited to start doing that again.

Below you will find a lot of products and services that I highly recommend if you want to live large, travel, and enjoy life while still saving as much money as possible.

Sometimes I am even able to offer you some special coupon codes that I have worked out with our sponsors, to save you money. These are deals that are only available here, from me, and no where else! That’s how much I want you to live large, and spend small! 🙂

Sometimes the links include “affiliate links,” which means…if you buy something through one of those links, I get a little bit of money, paid to me by the company. This doesn’t increase your cost at all, and it helps to support the costs of maintaining the website. But, I want you to know that I only promote products that are AWESOME, ones that I have used myself, and/or know are great products.I don’t promote garbage just for the sake of making 3 cents. 🙂

So if you’re one of many families saving money and looking to save a few dollars, please check out the list below for coupons, deals, and more!

As you know, I am a blogger and I work from home. I’m also a part time teacher. To keep my life organized and stay looking cute, I have to use a planner. My favorite planners are by Erin Condren, and you have probably seen them and heard of them. They are so darn gorgeous! She’s got planners for everyone, even her own line for teachers! If you are looking for a good planner, you’ve got to check out the Erin Condren planners. You can USE THIS LINK to get 30% off books and covers.

If you need absolutely gorgeous digital graphic designs for your blog or website, The Hungry JPEG is the absolute best source. They’re almost always on sale, and their prices are very low. I can’t say enough about the value of these graphics. They are just so beautiful, and totally my style. They are sold in convenient bundles and include hundreds of images, fonts, colors, styled photos, and more. Each purchase comes with its own commercial license, so you can use it for all your business needs. I love their Everyday Designer Bundle, which has everything you’ll need to build beautiful posts and sites.

This one may not seem super exciting, but it is SO IMPORTANT! You know how you see all these gorgeous home offices on Pinterest, and they always have some beautiful, hard antique looking chair at the desk? Well, they may look pretty, but ergonomic they are NOT. However, the chairs at Office Chairs @ Work are specifically designed for comfort during your long work day. I have a really bad back, including herniated discs, sciatica, and mild stenosis. I for one can tell you how important it is, as a work from home blogger, to have a chair that was designed for my type of desk work. Office chairs can be VERY expensive, as I’m sure you’ve seen, but I love the prices here. They save my back without breaking the bank.

If you’ve been blogging a while, chances are you’ve probably bitten the bullet and purchased a nicer camera to take photos for your website. My husband actually gave me a Cannon EOS Rebel DSLR a couple years ago, and it was life changing. Not only does it take great photos, but it’s FUN to use! However, learning to use all the features was a bit of a headache! I’m so happy that Elsie Larson, Emma Chapman and Janae Hardy of A Beautiful Mess Blog have started to offer an online course to show us how to get the most out of our DSLR cameras. I highly recommend this course if you want to improve your photography skills for your blog.
